Celebrate the 4th of July with the sweet and soft Bundt Cake
The Bundt Cake is a traditional American dessert that originated in Europe but gained popularity in America in the late 60s.
Today, we want to share a sweet, soft and tasty recipe using our Bundt Cake baking molds to celebrate American Independence Day. (recipe for about 10/12 servings)
Ingredients for the batter:
- Butter, 230 g
- Cream Cheese, 230 g
- Sugar, 400 g
- 6 Eggs
- All-purpose flour, 360g
- Salt and Vanilla extract, one teaspoon
- Baking powder, one teaspoon
- Milk, 240 ml
Ingredients for the glaze:
- Powdered sugar, 250 g
- Milk, 3 tablespoons
- Vanilla extract, ½ teaspoon
Preparation for the batter:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat the butter and the cream cheese together until smooth, then add sugar and beat until the mixture becomes light and fluffy (about 5 minutes).
- In the bowl with the beaten cream cheese, add 3 whole eggs one at a time, beating well. Once the eggs are incorporated, add 3 tablespoons of the flour mixture from the first bowl. Then, add the remaining 3 eggs.
- Add the flour mixture and the milk alternating a little bit of each ingredient careful not to create any lumps.
- The batter is ready! Take our Bunt Cake baking molds and fill them with the batter. No need to butter the mold! Gently tap on the bottom of the Bundt Cake mold and bake in the oven for about 35/40 minutes.
- After the cooking time has passed, grab a toothpick to insert in the centre of the Bundt cakes, if it comes out clean and dry, they are ready!
- Let cool for 20 minutes, then take them out of the mold and glaze them!
Preparation for the glaze:
To prepare the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, milk and vanilla in a bowl until smooth and pour it onto the cooled cakes!
Final step: ENJOY!
